Living Inspired, Building Untethered & The Business Of Becoming

BEAUTIFUL SOULS,

These first two months of 2026 have been some of the most full, personally and professionally, that I can remember. I want to share them with you because if you have been following this journey, you deserve to see what showing up through it all looks like.

I have been doing this work while being present with my mom through home hospice. I have been on podcasts, in boardrooms, on stages, and on the phone with clients who are stepping into the biggest versions of themselves. And somehow, through all of it, the work has never felt more aligned.

Here's what's been happening.

THE BREAKTHROUGH THAT STARTED IT ALL

I have to start here because everything else you're about to read flows from this moment.

Andy and Yeni Zapata are clients. And what happened with them this quarter didn't just change their business. It changed mine.

Yeni and Andy

I want you to hear from them about the work we did. ▶ Watch their story

Watching their transformation and seeing how it applied directly to the franchise world they operate in lit something in me I couldn't ignore. I will tell you more later in the Newsletter.

A MONTH ON THE WATER WITH MOM

Right after finishing with Andy and Yeni, I rented a big, beautiful house on the water in New Jersey. To spend time with my mom. She was diagnosed with Stage 3 non-small cell lung cancer as well as breast cancer, which exacerbated her Alzheimer's. To say it has been a difficult time for her is an understatement.

She and my stepfather needed me. I decided now was the time to move her bedroom from upstairs to the first floor, build a new bath, and make the house work for where she is on her journey. It was physical, emotional, sacred work. My priority was her. Full stop.

Every evening, no matter what the day had held, we'd stop. And we'd watch the sunset over the bay. Night after night. That view. That stillness. The three of us, just present.

Mom

And somewhere in those evenings, a realization began to form.

With my mom as my priority, prospecting one person at a time for my new Hybrid group coaching program built for emerging entrepreneurs just wasn't going to work.

I needed to think bigger to prospect at a higher level, to reach people who could bring this work to hundreds of people at once.

And then it hit me: the franchise world needed this program. I'd seen it with Andy and Yeni. Franchisors have this enormous, gaping void in their training and development programs. They train on their systems. They teach some sales. But nobody is teaching their people how to think, lead, scale, and show up with the kind of mindset that actually drives growth. Most franchisees have bought themselves a job. Not the kind of life and freedom they dreamed of when they made the leap.

That void? That's exactly where Beyond Limits comes in.

Beyond Limits: The business of becoming for Franchises was born in a difficult time for me personally. But being in a beautiful house on the bay down the Jersey Shore, watching the sun go down over the bay, sitting next to my mom, was just what I needed to break through.

My Mom went into the ER the night we got back and came home over a week later on home hospice. How is that for divine timing??

BEYOND LIMITS FOR FRANCHISES

I came back from Jersey with one mission: bring this to the franchise world.

Beyond Limits for Franchises is now positioned as "SaaS with a human touch" a plug-and-play coaching system for franchise developers and franchisors who want their people to actually perform, not just survive.

In the first week of March alone, I had 7 franchise meetings with developers, brokers, and operators. The momentum is undeniable.

WHAT MY CLIENTS ARE SAYING

Three months ago, Beyond Limits: The Business of Becoming looked nothing like it does today.

It morphed out of my group hybrid coaching work. The more franchise owners I worked with, the more I saw the same thing. Smart, hardworking people who knew their model inside and out but couldn't break through their own ceiling.

Operators execute. They follow the playbook, manage the day to day, keep the machine running. Fixed mindset. Built to maintain.

Entrepreneurs build. They see around corners, make decisions from vision, and grow the asset. Growth mindset. Completely different identity.

Me and my clients

Same business. That gap is exactly what's killing franchise potential at every level. Nobody was solving for that. So I did.

Identity work alone doesn't cut it. Neither does structure alone. This program combines both. Because transformation without structure is just motivation. And structure without identity change is just busywork.

I'm now connecting directly with franchise founders and developers to plug this into their systems. One location or one million.

BEING VISIBLE

While all of this was unfolding, I kept showing up publicly every single week, going live, writing, and podcasting to build the business.

SHOWING UP FOR MYSELF THROUGH IT ALL

Me and parker

Parker and I in Cold Spring, NY

This quarter, I've been nomadic in the most intentional way. Hudson. Cold Spring. Now Brookfield,CT. Moving closer to my mom, staying close, caring for her as she navigates this season of her life.

I've done Leap Lives from my car. I took us to that beautiful house on the water so we could all be together and make the transition easier for Mom and her husband. And somehow, those moments produced some of the most grounded, honest work I've ever put out.

I share this not for sympathy but because I know many of you are building businesses through your own impossible seasons. And I want you to know: you don't have to pause your life to build your life.

The last few weeks? They've been a lot. I found myself deep in it, running the same loop, letting my circumstances convince me that everything was hard and heavy and just too much.

And here's the sneaky part. When you're in it, you can look at your circumstances and find every reason to justify your feelings of doom. And if you talk to the people around you, they'll justify it too. Because from the outside, it looks real. It looks valid. And so you stay stuck.

Here's what I know to be true. We all have emotions that keep showing up. Patterns that run so deep they feel like personality. My 2 deep underlying emotions are shame and sadness. And the sadness is deep. A quiet, subconscious kind of deep that colors everything without announcing itself. I sense this goes back generations. Explains the alcoholism that runs rampant in my ancestry.

This is why I meditate and practice Kundalini Yoga, amongst other daily routines. This is why I do the daily work of becoming aware of my own subconscious thoughts. Because until I can see the pattern, I can't change it. And until I change it, I will keep building the same life over and over.

When we do the work. When we start retraining the brain to step out of the old story and into the version of ourselves we were always meant to be?

That's where it gets beautiful. That's where we stop surviving and start becoming. Becoming everything we are capable of. Becoming who we were always meant to be.

Becoming divine. Stepping into the light. In its fullest potential.

You don't have to know better to do better.

You get to choose better and hope takes care of the rest.

What's next

More Empower Hour Lives. More franchise conversations. My YouTube strategy is launching. Planning on a month in Hawaii and a few weeks in Arizona with my best friend from high school, Lavendar Farm. The best is absolutely ahead.
